Mobile internet in Europe: one eSIM for 33 countries
Updated October 30, 2026

In Europe you often cross several borders on one trip: Paris, then Amsterdam, then Berlin. You need data the whole way for train tickets, maps and messaging. With one eSIM for 33 countries you stay online without buying a new SIM in every country.
Do you even need an eSIM?
If your SIM card is from an EU country, EU roaming rules (“roam like at home”) usually let you use your plan in other EU countries at no extra charge, within fair-use limits. An eSIM still makes sense if:
- you live outside the EU, for example in the USA, the UK, Asia or Australia, where roaming in Europe is often expensive,
- you travel to Switzerland or the UK: they are not covered by EU roaming rules, and many carriers charge extra there,
- your home plan has little data or slows down abroad.
Which countries are included?
Our Europe eSIM works in 33 countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Not included: Turkey. Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova have their own eSIMs in our shop.
Networks and speed
In each country the eSIM uses strong partner networks, for example Vodafone and O2 in Germany, SFR in France, Vodafone, Wind and Iliad in Italy, Movistar and Orange in Spain. At a border it simply switches to the next network. The internet exit is inside the EU (Belgium), so it stays fast all over Europe.
How much data do you need?
Our Europe plans run for 30 days with 5 GB, 10 GB or 20 GB, shared across all countries:
- 5 GB: a city trip with maps, tickets and messaging.
- 10 GB: the most popular choice for two or three weeks.
- 20 GB: for a long trip, lots of photos and video, or working on the road.
Install at home, the plan starts in Europe
You can install the eSIM before your trip. The plan only starts once the eSIM connects to a network in one of the 33 countries. On arrival, switch mobile data to the eSIM and turn on data roaming.
- Data only, no phone number. Your own number stays reachable for calls and SMS.
- Does your phone support eSIM? eSIM check.
- Step-by-step: installation guide.
- The QR code works only once.
